Getting here
From the station on foot, by bus or by taxi, and where to park in the centre.
From Trieste Centrale station
On foot (about 15 minutes). From the main entrance on Piazza Libertà, cross at the zebra crossing and follow the seafront: Corso Cavour, Riva Tre Novembre and Riva del Mandracchio, for about 800 metres. At Piazza Unità, cross the square and take Via dell’Orologio, which becomes Via Diaz after a few metres. On the way you already see Europe’s largest square facing the sea.
By bus. Lines 8 and 30. Tickets are sold at tobacconists (there are two inside the station) or on the Trieste Trasporti app. The line 8 stop is at the side exit on Viale Miramare; the line 30 stop is opposite the main entrance on Piazza Libertà.
By taxi. The taxi rank is at the side exit on Viale Miramare.
By car
On-street parking in the centre is paid Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm and free on public holidays and at night. Our partner covered car park is Park San Giusto, Via del Teatro Romano 16, a few minutes’ walk away, with a discount for our guests.
